Meet the Founder
Owner of GLS Aesthetics, Sheena Rai, fabricated the idea of Shades Wax during the development of her wax journey. Starting her beauty industry experience in 2014 as a salon owner, Sheena followed her passion for skincare began her Esthetician career in 2017. Attending Lu Ross Academy in Ventura, California in 2016, she achieved her Esthetician license by the State Board of California in 2017 and started her aesthetics journey. Upon working for a well known waxing franchise, Sheena’s love for the waxing industry was more evident than ever as she ranked in the top 10% nationwide within the franchise. This then lead to her returning to the world of entrepreneurship with the establishment of GLS Aesthetics.
Currently with two locations located in Ventura County, California, Sheena has embraced her love for the art of waxing and created something of her own to encourage others to enjoy the specialty of waxing while customizing it your way.
